AIRLINES

We use our local airport/carrier, Horizon-Alaska in East Wenatchee WA, when ever possible.  Horizon-Alaska airlines services to CA, WA, OR, and a few more surrounding states.  For other states we use DELTA, NORTHWEST, OR UNITED located in Spokane or Seattle.

When possible, we use direct flights.  Temperatures are checked constantly looking for the perfect day to ship your baby.

 

*PLEASE NOTE *

There is a transport fee of 110.00 to a Spokane or Seattle airport.  Shipping from either city is a 9 hour drive and 440 miles round trip.

 

WEATHER

Since most airlines have temperature regulations (45-85) when shipping live animals, temps must be checked constantly.  Temps are checked at each point of boarding and transfer prior to booking to insure a safe and comfortable flight for your baby.

 

FLIGHTS

Upon booking a flight, buyers will be notified of flight schedules, AIR BILL numbers, arrival and departure times, as well as any layovers.

SHIPPING RATES 

Depending on the airline, and gas hikes, any where from $89.00 to $250.

Buyers have the option to pay at time of baby purchase of pay for the shipping costs (COD) when the bird arrives on their end.

CRATES

Birds are shipped in a 100 (or larger) series Veri-Kennel with wire ventilation panels or especially made wooden boxes with proper ventilation.

 

Perches are attached to the floor of the kennel or box and extra seed, nuts, fruits and veggies and added incase of an unexpected layover.

 

Crate prices can vary on the size of the crate needed. They run anywhere between $50 and $100.

Buyer has the option of purchasing the crate and have it shipped to us.
